Joel Embiid’s twice-delayed NBA debut was well worth the wait: 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the 76ers’ loss to Oklahoma City. Embiid looked like a star, stepping back and hitting a 3-pointer, stunning with a Dream Shake, and making everyone forget about Jahlil Okafor.
Embiid was a force of nature in only 22 minutes, and this was my favorite moment: When he let everyone know that Steven Adams had no chance against him.
