Oakland Raiders Set NFL Record With 23 Penalties

The Oakland Raiders have long been known for racking up penalties, but on Sunday things got ridiculous. The Raiders set the NFL record with 23 penalties in their Week 8 30-24 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That’s not a typo.

#Raiders with 23 penalties for 200 yards. That's Jay Ajayi territory.

The Silver and Black was penalized 23 times for 200 yards in 75 minutes of playing time. That roughly one penalty for every three minutes of game time.
