Jason Heyward has struggled at the plate all season for the Chicago Cubs, but no one has ever questioned the guy’s glove. In Game 5 of the World Series, he made another spectacular defensive play on a foul ball.
The wind at Wrigley Field clearly brought that back into play and it could have turned disastrous, but Heyward hung with it and made the play. That’s truly a fantastic play.
Even Trevor Bauer was impressed:
The Cleveland Indians are up 1-0 through three innings.
