Golfer John Peterson Has a Massive Bruise After Attempting a Flip From Rocks in Mexico

PGA Tour golfer John Peterson has had a rough go over the last year. After teeing it at three tournaments during the wrap-around portion of the 2015-2016 season, Peterson suffered an injury to his left hand at the RSM Classic which required surgery. The injury sidelined him for 11 months, but the former LSU golfer returned this year at the Safeway Open where he missed the cut.

Peterson and some buddies headed down to a bachelor party in Mexico where they went deep-sea fishing, ate, drank, and did flips off of rocks.

Look, I’m not here to tell you don’t have fun and do crazy things, but after sitting out 11 months due to a hand injury, have fun and DON’T DO CRAZY THINGS!

This is probably the reason I can't feel the left side of my body today. #day3

Although Peterson hasn’t won a tournament on Tour since turning pro in 2012, he has racked up over $1.6 million in earnings.

Some of you may remember Peterson as the guy who did the Happy Gilmore drive during the CIMB Classic in 2015.
