Turkish Airlines Open Features a Tee Over a Pool from an Apartment

The Turkish Airlines Open is slated to start on Thursday this week, and as one of the final events of the Race to Dubai, it features a hefty pay day. It also features a pretty interesting tee box.

The par-4 16th at the Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort is set back around 40 yards from the original tees and is also on top of an apartment building overlooking a swimming pool.

The field was supposed to feature Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed, and Henrik Stenson, but Woods withdrew from the event after pulling out of the Safeway Open and McIlroy, Reed, and Stenson withdrew over security concerns.
