The Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time since 1908. They traded the longest championship drought in history for the shortest. ESPN was prepared for this eventuality. Right after the game ended, ESPN posted a new This Is SportsCenter ad on Twitter showing Jay Harris resetting the Years Since the Cubs Won the World Series counter. The UConn Huskie in a cone of shame was cute, but the Butt Fumble counter was inspired.
