Sam Dekker appeared in just 3 games as a rookie with the Houston Rockets last season. So far this season, he’s already appeared in all 5 of Houston’s games and he’s playing 14 minutes a night. With time, comes opportunity. Opportunities like a wide-open fastbreak which he promptly blew by tripping, falling down, bouncing the ball off his face and losing the ball out of bounds. At the same time, this is both one of the greatest and worst things I have ever seen happen on a basketball court.
Dekker finished with 5 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist in a Rockets win over the Knicks. And now he has a signature play.
