The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night in L.A., 101-91. After the game, former John Calipari recruits DeMarcus Cousins and Julius Randle exchanged words. Randle smiled through the discussion as security and teammates got in between the two.

After the game, Cousins called it “U.K. love” and said Randle is like a little brother. Randle attributed the talking to bragging rights. Still, as friendly as they are, it has to be frustrating for Cousins, in his 7th season, to see firsthand that Randle, in his second season, and the Lakers are already passing the Kings by.

Randle had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the game. Boogie had 25, 9, and 4. The Lakers are 5-4. The Kings are 4-6.
