Conor McGregor's Next Legitimate Challenge is Fatherhood

Conor McGregor had an insanely big weekend. He was the first fighter to headline a UFC card at Madison Square Garden and in the process beat up Eddie Alvarez to become the first person to ever hold two UFC championship belts at the same time. Plus, McGregor’s star power helped account for what will probably be the richest event in organization history by any metric. At this point, there’s no question McGregor, 28, is the biggest star in UFC history.

So what now? McGregor’s options are limitless, but one thing he’ll definitely focused on is the impending arrival of his first child. At the UFC 205 postfight press conference, McGregor was pushed to make a big announcement and instead of saying something like “I’m headlining the first UFC event in space against your mom” he announced that his longtime girlfriend, Dee Devlin, was pregnant.

Mixing up the due date by two months and saying he was crapping his jocks. When does this guy stop entertaining? The biggest upset is that he didn’t claim right then and there that he would be the greatest father in the world. Conor McGregor coming for all the falsely-awarded #1 Dad coffee mugs in the world would make for a pretty great video.
