Luke Kuechly Cries As He's Carted Off The Field

Luke Kuechly was in tears as he was carted off the field with an injury during Thursday Night Football. The Carolina Panthers All-Pro linebacker was being evaluated for a concussion after he took a helmet to the chin on a fourth-quarter play.

Kuechly had serious concussion issues last season, so that might explain why he was so emotional. It was heart-breaking to see the guy sitting there sobbing while being evaluated.

It appears Kuechly escaped a left leg injury despite wrenching it awkwardly on the play. But, the fact that they had to cart him off the field for a concussion says all you need to know about the situation. That was not good for Kuechly or his future.

The Panthers beat the New Orleans Saints 23-20 Thursday night, but everyone’s thoughts were with Kuechly as the game wound to a close.
