James Harden had his worst game of the season on Wednesday night in a loss to the Thunder. Harden was held to 13 points, 13 assists and 7 rebounds which actually isn’t that bad, but looks like crap because his numbers have been so insane. Last night against the Trail Blazers – on the second night of a back-to-back and third game in four nights – Harden got back on track with 26 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds. His third triple-double of the season.

He’s still leading the league in turnovers (5.6 per), but his assist-to-turnover ratio is still a respectable 2.28 so just leave him alone, OK? Consider this – Harden is only averaging 1 more turnover per game than he did last season. However, he’s averaging 12.8 assists – 5.3 more assists than last season. Plus he’s grabbing a career high 8.2 rebounds. Just a truly impressive first 12 games.
