RG3 was placed on injured reserve after suffering a shoulder fracture in Week 1 against the Eagles. Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Browns quarterback is returning to practice today. RG3 still must be cleared for contact, but the Browns have a bye next week, and it sounds like it’s possible he could return after that.

Josh McCown is the Browns’ starter this week. After that is TBD.

Between spotty health and diminished performance from his electric rookie year even when he is healthy, RG3 would really need to perform in the four games that Cleveland has remaining (provided he’s cleared for them) to have any shot at being considered to be an NFL starter at the outset of next season.
