With 11 seconds remaining in Ravens-Bengals, Baltimore snapped a punt and their players besides the punter Sam Koch just started tackling everybody on the Bengals, waiting for the clock to run out. When the clock hit 0’s, Koch stepped out of the back of the end zone for a safety. While the game cannot end on a defensive penalty, the same is not true for offense, and this game concluded without the Bengals having any chance to respond.
There is one caveat to this rule:
As the Ravens did not hold in the end zone, the game was over.
