Matt Barnes and the Sacramento Kings were in Brooklyn on Sunday. The Kings won the game, 122-115, but it was almost a close game. Which is a moral victory for the 4-12 Nets. All they needed was for Barnes to commit an awkward-but-flagrant foul on Sean Kilpatrick that motivated the Nets to get within 6 before eventually losing by 17.
Who knows what Barnes would have to do to motivate the Nets to beat the Kings. Beat up their coach? Anyway, Barnes also provided another highlight on Sunday when he threw a bad alley-oop to Rudy Gay that banked in for a 3-pointer.
