Sidney Crosby scored three points and scored his league leading 16th goal in a win over the Dallas Stars on Thursday. His goal came late in the 2nd period when he found himself behind the net and decided to bounce it off the goaltender’s back. The puck came back to him so he slapped it in mid-air and it bounced off the goalie’s back again, but went into the goal this time. If someone had pulled this off while playing a hockey video game, I would throw my controller, so my hat is off to everyone in Dallas for not collectively freaking out over this sorcery.
