Matt Barnes Accused of Choking Woman in Nightclub, Per TMZ

Matt Barnes is accused of choking a woman inside a New York City nightclub early Monday morning, according to a report from TMZ.
"Law enforcement sources tell us cops got a 911 call to Avenue Nightclub after midnight, reporting a man assaulting 2 women and another man. We’re told things got physical when Barnes allegedly choked one woman during an argument — and when 2 other people tried to intervene … he punched both of them."
Barnes was reportedly with at least one of his Sacramento Kings teammates and fled before police arrived.
Barnes was suspended two games by the NBA for a physical confrontation with then-New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher last year.
