Here are Some Names Bears Coach John Fox Likes to Say

The Chicago Bears are floundering in the cellar of the NFC North with a 3-9 record. He could be spending all his time dwelling on the negative. Instead, he’s finding joy in the little things, like saying interesting names.
He addressed a few of his favorites today in a conference call with Detroit media in advance of Sunday’s game against the Lions and offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.
"“I love the name,” Fox said. “He and (Minnesota Vikings cornerback) Captain Munnerlyn. I recruited Captain way back when I was in Carolina. Those two are right up there (as the best names in sports), player and coach. But I love saying Jim Bob’s name.”"
Don’t we all, John. Don’t we all.
We have to imagine Fox has had a ton of fun over the years with the NFL’s most outstanding names like Webster Slaughter, Buzz Nutter, Atari Bigby and — the gold standard — Dick Butkus.
