Chances of Jamaal Charles Returning for the Playoffs: 'Very Realistic'

The Kansas City Chiefs are firmly in the realm of the “ball control team.” Pretty much they throw it to Travis Kelce, and they try to get Tyreek Hill in space, and that’s the offense. Despite this, they are 10-3 and leading the AFC West.

If Adam Schefter is to be believed, however, the Chiefs are likely to add another dimension to their offense in the playoffs. Chances are “very realistic,” Schefter reported, that the explosive Kansas City running back could return from meniscus surgeries that landed him on injured reserve Nov. 1.

Charles has only played in three games this year, and did so as a backup, so it’s difficult to say how much the Chiefs could use him. But he’s the kind of back that can change an entire game in one snap, so it might not take much.
