Charlie Strong Hired at South Florida
By Tully Corcoran

Charlie Strong, who as recently as three years ago was thought to be one of the very best college football coaches around, and who as recently as last month was the coach of the Texas Longhorns, has now resurfaced as coach of South Florida.

The 56-year-old Strong, who has a career coaching record of 53-37, replaces Willie Taggart, who left South Florida for Oregon.
Strong figures to be under slightly less pressure now.
