Richard Sherman: Thursday Night NFL Games are 'Poopfest(s)'

I’d hate to split hairs over just what is and isn’t a “poopfest,” but it’s fair to say NFL fans have noticed a difference in the quality of play between NFL games played on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.

Richard Sherman has noticed too.

From ESPN:

"Poopfest, it’s terrible. We got home like 1 o’clock in the morning, something like that on Monday, and then you’ve got to play again. Congratulations, NFL, you did it again. But they’ve been doing it all season, so I guess we’re the last ones to get the middle finger.”"

Sometimes players gripe about things that don’t matter to fans, but this doesn’t seem to be the case on this topic. NFL players say it’s more difficult to play well in Thursday night games, and NFL fans say the Thursday night games are less entertaining than other games.

Seems like there’s only one thing to do here.
