Kristaps Porzingis is Ready to Fight

Kristaps Porzingis had 34 points and 8 rebounds in a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. We’ve talked before about no matter how hard he tries, Porzingis still looks kind of goofy when he tries to look tough. The important thing to remember is that doesn’t mean he isn’t tough. After an unsuspecting Porzingis got thrown down by Suns rookie Marquese Chriss, he got right back up and went after Chriss. There did not appear to be a lot of hold-me-back in his approach.

The Suns went on to win the game after Porzingis fouled out with the Knicks up 3 with 94-seconds remaining in overtime. The one thing he can’t fight is the system.
