Bruno Andres Doglioli has been given a three-year ban from rugby after he tackled referee Maria Beatrice Benvenuti during a Series A match in Italy. The cheapshot took place during a match between Vicenza and Valsugana. Doglioli came from behind for what looked like a clothesline tackle on the unsuspecting ref. She reportedly suffered whiplash.
