Brock Osweiler Threw Two Bad Interceptions against Jacksonville, Finally Was Benched for Tom Savage

Houston, currently tied for 1st in the AFC South, is trailing Jacksonville at home, 13-0 in the second quarter, and the primary reason is QB Brock Osweiler. The $72 million man has been terrible all season, but he’s been particularly awful today: 6-for-11 for 48 yards and two interceptions already.
His two turnovers have led directly to 10 Jaguars points.
So in the second quarter, the Texans benched Osweiler for 2014 4th round pick Tom Savage. He hasn’t played in a game since 2014, and he’s never started an NFL game. For his NFL: 10-of-19 for 127 yards and he’s got three turnovers.
