Odell Beckham 1-Handed Touchdown Catch Means Lions Might Miss the Playoffs

Odell Beckham was quiet for three quarters against the Lions, but then he made a 1-handed touchdown catch in 4th quarter, pushing the Giants to a 17-6 lead against the Lions.
The win has massive playoff implications with two games left: The Giants are headed toward a Wild Card spot – maybe more if the Cowboys slip up against the Bucs today.
But for the first-place Lions, this was a game they had to have. The loss drops them to 9-5, and worse yet, the Packers are winning in Chicago, and Detroit’s final two games are rough:
The Lions visit the Cowboys next week, then host the Packers in the season finale. The Packers are perhaps the hottest team in the NFL right now. The Cowboys are 11-2. Yes, it’s possible Detroit could go from 9-4 in first place to 9-7 and no playoffs.
