The Bills Elected to Not Recover a Jets Kickoff, and New York Got a Touchdown Out of it

Didn’t the Bills fire Rex Ryan because the franchise was a mess? Riddle me this: The Jets kicked off, the ball bounced in play, went into the end zone … and a Bills player apparently didn’t know the rules, so he didn’t recover, and the Jets did, so New York got a gift TD.
New York 30, Buffalo 3 with a couple minutes left.
That’s the first time I’ve seen a play like this.
