LeBron James - Kyrie Irving Rivalry Takes Next Step. And Then Another. And Another. (They Both Traveled)

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James are having an indirect competition this season. So far Irving’s team has a better record, but LeBron is having the better individual season. On Monday night both players showed off another side of the game – not getting called for a blatant travel. First, we have LeBron’s hop, skip and a jump travel against the Philadelphia 76ers.

That’s a pretty egregious no-call. He might actually still be moving.

Later in the evening Kyrie treated fans in Detroit to a stumbling drunken fullback travel. This wasn’t as much of a travel as LeBron’s, but the fact that Kyrie drew a foul after diving headfirst into Avery Bradley’s armpit is worth bonus points.

LeBron had more steps and jumps, but Kyrie somehow looked more awkward. It’s a tough [no] call. What do you think?
