Donald Trump's Golf Outings Have Cost the Secret Service Well Over $100K in Golf Cart Rentals This Year

Donald Trump really likes to golf. Like most people who like golf, he plays whenever he can. Unlike most people who like golf, the Secret Service has to tag along and they don’t walk.

According to USA TODAY, the Secret Service spent $7,500 on golf cart rentals over Thanksgiving while Trump played golf with Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson and who knows how many other people. Despite the fact that they were at Trump’s own golf club, the Secret Service borrowed the carts from Golf Cart & Utility Distributors in Florida. Trump golfs so much that they have a contract with the company and they already owe them $69,430. The contract runs through May.

In total, since the inauguration in January, the Secret Service has spent $144,975 on golf cart rentals throughout the United States.
