Vegas Really Likes What Tiger Woods is Doing at the Hero World Challenge
By Michael Shamburger

Entering the 2017 Hero World Challenge after a 301 day layoff, Tiger Woods was 100/1 according to Vegas to win the 2018 Masters. All things considered, that’s not much of a surprise for a guy who hasn’t won since 2013 and is ranked outside the top 1000 in the official world rankings.
However, Woods opened the Hero World Challenge with a solid 69 which garnered praise from one of his biggest critics, and after a second round front nine 31, Vegas has apparently gone all in on Tiger as a favorite at the Masters.
Tiger Woods 2018 Masters odds ...
— Jeff Sherman (@golfodds) December 1, 2017
Opened 100/1
Prior to Hero World Challenge 50/1
After Hero World Challenge 1st Round 25/1
After Hero World Challenge 2nd Round front nine 15/1
at this rate he’ll be the favorite after Hero World Challenge 4th Round
As Sherman pointed out, Tiger may be the favorite to win the 2018 Masters if he wins this week in the Bahamas.
If Tiger is able to climb to 5/1 odds, it would put him even with Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose, and Jon Rahm. He would be ahead of Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama.
How insane is that?
