Andy Reid Has Had It Up to Here with Andy Reid's Play Calling

Chiefs coach Andy Reid has, up until now, also been the Chiefs’ play caller. That arrangement has had its ups and downs and now Andy Reid has seen enough of Andy Reid’s play calling.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid is benching....himself. He has has planned to hand over play calling to OC Matt Nagy for today's game vs. Jets although Reid will continue to have oversight, per team sources.

Might as well try something, I suppose. The Chiefs’ season is rapidly turning to vapor, the quarterback has lost all his mojo, and Reid has had more than his share of cute play calls blow up in his face.
Kansas City does still lead the AFC West at 6-5, and they do still have a Top 10 offense. But they’ve lost five of their last six games, and haven’t scored more than 17 points in a month.
The Chiefs are desperate for a spark, but they aren’t going to bench Alex Smith, so here you go.
