Short People Standing Next to Tall People is All We Have Left

When I first saw these pictures of Jose Altuve standing next to taller athletes I was nonplussed. Altuve’s shortness was well-documented this year, especially on occasions when he stood next to Aaron Judge. Worse than that, I’ll admit I judged people for deriving enjoyment from Joel Embiid and J.J. Watt towering over the American League MVP. I made an internal vow not to post them on this website because they were so stupid.

But you know what? This has been a rough year, the holidays are approaching, and who am I to judge someone from finding joy in the absurdity of the human condition?
