Paul George returned to Indiana on Wednesday for the first time since he was traded to Oklahoma City. The Thunder escaped with a win, but George was treated to a chorus of boos throughout the game. Most notably by these guys wearing Paul George jerseys.
They weren’t alone.
There are a couple possibilities here. Maybe these guys did that thing where they altered the name on the back of the jersey and we just can’t see it. Or they came with the jerseys because they planned on cheering for George because of his many fine years playing for the Pacers and the excellent position his trade put the team in for the future. And then everyone else started booing so they joined the mob.
