JuJu Smith-Schuster Recreated His Vontaze Burfict Hit And Taunt In TD Celebration

Juju Smith-Schuster was suspended one game for a brutal hit on Vontaze Burfict after which he stood over the concussed linebacker and taunted him. Smith-Schuster seemed contrite for the hit, but on Sunday he made light of the situation.

After Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Martavis Bryant made a spectacular one-handed touchdown catch against the New England Patriots, Smith-Schuster and Bryant did the following as part of the celebration:

While that’s kind of funny, I’m not sure it sends the right message. Smith-Schuster and his teammates are making light of a hit that injured an opponent.
