Tiger Woods will not have Chris Como as his swing coach in 2018. Como had worked with Woods since November 2015.
Woods made the announcement on Twitter:
This is the fourth coach Woods has parted ways with. Tiger spent 1996-2003 with Butch Harmon followed by six years with Hank Haney, who he won six majors with, and then Sean Foley who he parted ways with in 2014.
This is interesting to me because Woods’s swing looks very smooth right now and I’m not sure exactly what he’s expecting to gain if he does decide to bring in a new coach who will likely come in and tweak his swing more.
