Suzy Kolber: Allegedly, the Monday Night Football sideline reporter was having an affair with a producer on the show. Biggie? No biggie? Anyway, he was supposedly married with four kids. As a reader noted, Kolber had a baby last March. Hmmmm. At the time, her father adamantly refused to say who the baby’s father was. We’re unable to find any further information. Notre Dame and Charlie Weis: Since we were talking about recruiting and the Irish this week, here’s a stat for you - the 28-player recruiting class that Charlie Weis hauled in back in 2006 plays its last home game Saturday. Ten of those players have transferred. Only nine of those players “had an impact” (whatever that means). And since the group began playing regularly, their record is an underwhelming 16-19. Now the question becomes - were those kids “overrated” in high school, or did Charlie Weis just not do a good job coaching them? A combination of the two? Something else entirely? [Tribune] Nov 20
