Prison Not Hard Enough: Plaxico Burress’ stay in prison is not arduous enough for the New York Post’s Douglas Montero.  The hardened criminal gets protected from the general population for safety reasons, and his wife with her relevant “white Range Rover” was allowed to (gasp!) bring him real food. If forced to drop the soap, he might understand the true gravity of accidentally shooting himself. Burress is in prison while Jerramy “I raped a girl and stole her underwear” Stevens walks this earth with impunity. Ridiculous. (New York Post) (41)

Athletes and Celebrities, Prison Rules 52 Comments »

Hulk Hogan’s new reality show, Celebrity Championship Wrestling, will debut on CMT this summer. The show will be a competition between ten “celebrities” who will wrestle each other throughout the course of 10 episodes until only one remains. The contestants include two surprises and the following C-Listers:

– Todd Bridges (TV’s Different Strokes & Everybody Hates Chris)
– Butterbean (boxer & fighter)
– Dustin Diamond (Saved by the Bell)
– Erin Murphy (Tabitha from TV’s Bewitched)
– Frank Stallone (Sylvester Stallone’s brother)
– Tiffany (80s pop star)
– Nikkie Ziering (former Playboy model)
– Trishelle (Real World)

Perhaps funnier than any given episode is the show’s press release from On Camera Audience:

Think about it for a minute. Seriously. How long have you waited to see 80’s music sensation Tiffany perform a pile driver on The Real World’s Trishelle? Up close. For free. This show is going to make all of your reality television dreams come true in what might be the most entertaining new reality show of the season!

Michael Vick Is Not Playing Prison Football, But I Like To Imagine He Is

Losers, Prison Rules 51 Comments »

If Michael Vick was playing prison yard football I doubt anyone would be surprised. Hell, ESPN who would probably want to televise the games.

When they choose sides for football games in the yard at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kan., Michael Vick is the popular pick.

Twice for the same game, it seems.

He plays for both teams? There must be a ton of happy incarcerated defensive backs in Leavenworth, right now. Read the rest of this entry »
