male cheerleader who was assaulted by two female basketball players, start the incident by getting into a fight with his female roommate? "Accounts given to the police by several witnesses vary, but some say that there was a physical altercation between Short and his female roommate. Johnson's account says that when she tried to intervene there was shoving between her and Short. Hanneman's account says she slapped and punched Short after being pushed by him." Amanda Hanneman and Jessra Johnson, woman’s basketball players at the University of Missouri, were arrested this weekend for allegedly beating up a male cheerleader after an off-campus dispute. Kevin Love, apparently, has been going out with this UCLA “spirit squad” member (that means cheerleader, right?) for over a year now. Over the holiday weekend, Gary Parrish of CBS Sports was in SoCal for the 76 Classic and tweeted that he was told Love was dating her. Love has good taste – Elise has already been profiled by SI.com as “cheerleader of the week.” She’s still a Bruin, majoring in Economics. Very impressive.
