Rey Maualuga was picked up for DUI early this morning after hitting a parking meter and a couple parked cars. [This is where the joke about him being a Bengal goes.]
Shortly after 2 a.m. Friday, he was booked into the Kenton County Detention Center after Covington police said Maualuga was driving under the influence. Covington police spokesman Spike Jones said Maualuga was driving his 2003 Pontiac when he struck a parking meter and two parked cars in the 600 block of Scott Street, causing minor damage. Robert Sormanti, one of the guys that wears the Pat Patriot costume, was arrested in a prostitution sting yesterday in Rhode Island. So, yeah, the Patriots' mascot was arrested for prostitution. I really have nothing to add to this. (

(6)Len Elmore: ESPN's terrific basketball announcer is also a lawyer (Harvard Business School, and yes, that's relevant). He was a sports agent for five years. "I left the agent business because the environment was becoming toxic to my ethics and scruples. Corie Blount, the former Bull, Laker, Cav, Sun, Warrior, 76er and Raptor was sentenced to a year in jail after pleading guilty to 2 drug charges. He was arrested late last year after cops intercepted 11 pounds of pot on the way to his home. Then they found an additional 18 pounds at his home. That's a lot of sticky. He could have faced up to 10 years. Chris McKendry found the whole thing
quite funny. (
