The main event this Saturday is between Randy “The Natural” Couture and Mark “The Hammer” Coleman. These are two legends of the sport who were originally supposed to meet at UFC 17 in 1998. Saw Youth In Revolt last night and really liked it. Funny, different. I recommend it. I also watched Inglorious Basterds for the first time. Great movie, but a little heavy on the subtitles when you’re watching at 2am after a few beers.

Lightweight champion BJ Penn absolutely kicked the ass of Diego Sanchez. Sanchez was the top contender and Penn dominated Sanchez right from the start. He fulfilled his promise to beat Sanchez to the middle of the octagon and that was the closest part of the fight. Penn finished Sanchez in the 5th with a knee that opened a nasty cut that caused a stoppage which resulted in a TKO. I honestly don’t know if there’s anyone that can beat BJ Penn at 155 pounds. Kimbo Slice is undefeated in the UFC. Let that sink in for a moment. He’s 1-0. The toughest guy at the barbecue made it into the UFC and won his first fight.
