Here’s Michael Strahan, his fiancée Nicole Murphy, a random and The Captain. The photo was taken at a Pro Bowl pre-Grammy party two Sundays ago. I don’t understand why they were wasting their time at the Grammys when the most important game of the year was on. Read the rest of this entry »

Mike Ditka is surly and argumentative. We could have surmised that he probably uses foul language when not on camera. But now, after decades a fevered anticipation and debate about Ditka, we finally have our answer, briefs. (Kap’s Corner)
Megan Fox dressed like a cheerleader for Jennifer’s Body. I didn’t see that movie, but I’m sure the dialogue would be hip enough to make me want to punch a baby. The big question of the weekend is, can Jennifer’s Body or The Informant knock off the latest Tyler Perry pile-of-excrement from the #1 spot at the box office? Anyway, a couple more pics at WWTDD?
Least surprising news of the week – Steve Smith wasn’t dumping on Jake Delhomme last week. Even though he should have. (Sports Radio Interviews)

Perhaps we’ve been following the wrong quarterback comeback story this offseason.

Nothing Happened: Brett Favre decided not to do anything. He will not return to the Minnesota Vikings at present, though given his past, who knows. NFL analysts will emerge from the woodwork to have an opinion about nothing happening. Until we have reached the point of impossible return, Favre’s festering spectre will linger over the season. Incessant and breathless reporting of this story was pointless. (Fox Sports)

Soloman Wilcots: “Wilcots, who was an English literature major at the Univesity of Colorado and grew up loving Aesop’s Fables and Greek mythology, learned at a young age that John Donne was right. But playing cornerback was pretty darn close to being on an island.” Interesting fellow. Especially the fact that he was an unpaid intern for two years at a TV station after leaving the NFL. How many guys in the NFL pro athletes could handle that ding to the ego? [Cincy Enquirer]
