Even non-Boston fans love Ted Williams and the history of the Red Sox, I know I do.I think what ended up happening to Beantown is that there was over-saturation of the Red Sox/Yankee rivalry and the Celtics turned into goons after they won and now they are on everyone's sh*t list. Tommy "Dreamboat" Brady and the whole Patriots thing were/are still respected by non-Boston fans, but the Red Sox and the Celtics killed it for Boston in my opinion. The media is not enamored with the Philly/south jersey/Delaware area, so we will always be more of a Baltimore than a Boston, which I am cool with.

I hear you Crack-jack, but the media was always in love with Boston. Just think about this: was there even close the current over the top complaining about Boston fans pre-2001? Personally I cant wait to transfer the hatred of the country onto Philly.

Hopboy: Just you wait. 2-3 more titles for the city of Philly, and all of a sudden everyone will hop on the bandwagon that Philly fans are the most horrible human beings to ever walk the planet. Syracuse's weakness will be turnovers and not depth as much and Gtown will have trouble with their perimtere scoring if Dajuan Summers doesn't step up, but other than that I would have to agree.I still think UConn is the team that is most set up to play the varying styles in the tourney. They can run and they can play half court offense if they need to. Whether they have the will to do that is another issue.

louisville – chemistry, PG
gtown – youth, rebounding
ND – shot selection, defense
syracuse – depth, inside scoring
connecticut – passion, takeover offensive force
marquette – size, size, size
pitt – depth, history of march letdowns, sam young in a big spot

that being said, i think a few of these teams could have F4 potential. im starting to think the NCAA title is wide open. hell, marquette could be a F4 team. stanford was just a bad matchup and it nearly pulled that one off.

I think you pretty much nailed it.
