The Pats were never annoying, they just always won and consistently winning always garners hatred. At least that is just my opinion. Even non-Boston fans love Ted Williams and the history of the Red Sox, I know I do.I think what ended up happening to Beantown is that there was over-saturation of the Red Sox/Yankee rivalry and the Celtics turned into goons after they won and now they are on everyone's sh*t list.
