I’ve watched Kentucky a bit this year and if it weren’t for Meeks they are like a 15-15 16-13 type of team. It’s kind of fun to watch Meeks just dominate, but if they face a good defensive team in the first round of the NCAA tournament who knows how to slow down another team’s best player, they’ll definitely be beat.

Same for Davidson and the boy wonder.

Where’s Jimmy Dykes clamoring for Meeks to be player of the year? Didn’t quite hear that last night. Maybe because losing to a team that lost by 40 to LSU at home isn’t the ideal way to get noticed.

Yes, Patterson is good too, but I don’t know. It just doesn’t seem like a team that could get past the second round in the NCAA tournament.

Which brings up another thought. It seems like Kentucky is always a lock to the NCAA tournament no matter what. They’d probably have to lose 12-13 games to be out. It’s like if they lose 11 games or less they are automatically in.
