SC – Not sure if you read my (way too) long form stream of consciousness on the whole thing (you know where to find it, if not), but the gist is this: post-Leitch Deadspin had driven me partially away, and the comment ninjas finished the job. I probably read something on that site once or twice a week, and that’s mostly because somebody IMs me a link.

I have mixed feelings on that site. They treat their commenters like shit which sucks. But, they still get some pretty good tips and post some decent stuff.

I dislike it more than I like it because of the commenter thing, because as lefty said, that affects facets of their site that I don’t believe they intended it to.

It’s definitely not what it used to be… But, I never commented there. Only here.

Wow I always thought RockYouLikeAIracane was actually Iracane.

That site sucks so fucking bad now, I used to love it, and now it’s trash. After they posted a bullshit blurb about Bowmeister getting traded and put a tag on it like ‘this really happened’, I lost all remaining faith, they have absolutely no idea about any thing outside of Philadelphia sports and Erin Andrews.

Oh well, the cool kids from there splintered off long ago and formed their own little soccer haven, so fuck it.

SC – Billy’s right about Horford, and Joe’s a FA after next season. This will sound crazy, but he’s replaceable. The success or failure of that team depends on which J-Smoove shows up on a given night.

On another note, phenomenal work Andy. That’s top notch stuff. As I wrote in another place (not linking it, to avoid ssp and bannin’), my opinion is that how a site treats its commenters affects non-commenters’ perception of that site.
