We've been so geeked-up this season, first vs. the Giants, and then vs. the Dolphins; just don't know how anybody down here would react to seeing the New Orleans Saints in the God Damned Super Bowl! Can you imagine the announcers on WWL Saints Radio as the time ticks away in the NFC title game if our boys are ahead?! Absolute bedlam, my friend. There’s nothing to be torn about, Makblunt. A lot of us let out our life-long frustration with LSU’s two national championships, but people will be going fucking insane if the Saints win it all. One thing that makes it more special down here is that they have been the only game in town and the city’s only love for nearly 45 years, except for the occasional professional basketball appearance. Plus it will fall around Mardi Gras time.
