Harold Reynolds was a huge part of Baseball Tonight, and the chemistry between him and Kruk was a great thing – which makes the way Kruk shiat on him even worse, but that’s another story. Sounds like Woody was/is allowed to be quite the P.I.M.P. on and around the set of his shows, and even now that charges are a huge story and embarassment for the network and himself, he’s still allowed to not only continue to work but appear on tv? Wow. After seeing how the Reynolds situation went down, you can’t really say w/a straight face that that doesn’t stink. On one hand they fire the guy right away and don’t allow him any rights in the process (you’re supposed to have SOME, albeit not all that many); on the other hand they act as if nothing’s happening at all and conduct is, as always, A-OK. Smooth sailing for Woody and all. It’s a shame cause he’s funny as hell, too.

so how do you get rid of him, seriously. baseball is the nationaljoketime, all thanks to budbur fuddlig. isnt he essentially a public servent? couldnt a call for his head bring him out of office and force action by mlb? his reign has brought only a soap opera steroid controversy and bullshit allstar game exhibitions and rampant drug use among players. what am i missing here? federal laws are constantly being broken on his leagues behalf. i think he is a criminal

Baseball Tonight is Karl Ravech’s show, if you ask me, though Harold just nearly as important to the show as him. It was best when it was Ravech, Reynolds and Dave Campbell. They also made the best commercials for it.

Steve Phillips is ok, but Kruk is (and pretty much always has been_ painful. At least he’s not writing for Page 2 anymore. If he was looking for a way to make his TV appearances look better, his writing effectively did that…

This is not the first time Paige has been accused of sexual harassment. In 1992 he was forced to resign as executive sports editor of the Post after a female assistant accused him of verbally haranguing her and calling her a crude term for the female anatomy during an argument in his office.

The woman, Carrie Ludicke, later reached a financial settlement with the Post and left the newspaper. Paige denied harassing her.
