I am in no way justifying Spike’s actions, but I have never seen a team talk as much trash while getting their asses handed to them as the Georgia players did on Saturday.

Yeah, it was lame on their behalf, but Spikes is a punk who will get what he deserves. He should be suspended for at least one game, it not more. That was some bullshit right there. Dude is bitch.

UGA should have a DC that teams fight after every off season. No one is knocking down Martinez’s door. That should tell Richt something. They have a lot of talent, and a lot of it is young, but if Willie is still there, nothing will change. It’s one of those things where a change needs to be made because sometimes that is all that can be done. Willie has been there 5 years and they have not gotten better. A good DC who plays aggressive ball would make UGA a solid team. Very solid.

And while I agree that the defense is the problem, you guys really have a ton of bad penalties on offense. Frustrating, fundamental type stuff. It’s not all defense. Plus you guys have no running game whatsoever

The o-line has been the biggest led-down, moreso than Cox. But they have lost so many due to injury. It has been a perfect storm this year. Stuff schedule, awful QB play, awful defense. Again, it’s just one of those years.
