It’s not the same, in the sense that black people had much harder than gay people mainly because you can hide being gay alot easier than you can hide being black (hence why America had a gay president 150 years before we had a black president).

However, it’s still about a group of people being derided, denied equal rights, targeted, and killed for something that they have absolutely no control over. And if you can’t see that mrejr, there’s no hope for you, ever.
