Small market teams should complain when they pay 10mil to Gagne, or a boatload to Gil Meche.

An email from a fellow brewer’s fan: All the Mitchell report proved was the Brewer’s need to get Gagne back on the juice.

Thing about the brewers is that the majority of those hitters are so young they are going to improve on there patience at the plate, which should lead to better OBP and make the lineup more dangerous. I will try to track down there Petco projections, but my guess is it looks better then the Cubs. Personally I hate seeing the Kendall behind the plate but most NL teams have one hole.

I will give you Hardy’s year was a freak but you have to factor in his injuries in the previous ones. Hart will be a legit 20/20 guy though.

Gallardo is a stud and will be there 1n behind sheets and Manny Para might be a good option in the 5 spot. If Cappy can return to form when he lead the league in quality starts, the rotation could be real good, although that might be wishful thinking. They have plenty of arms to eat innings if Sheets does go down though.

now that he has been fingered in the mitchell report, he likely won’t be on any juice. now watch his numbers blow up?

Gagne is so over. I can only believe the Brewers GM didn’t watch baseball in 2007 and/or doesn’t have access to baseball-reference.com.
