spencer – Seymour may have played dirty in pushing Rivers over, but I believe Rivers started bitching (again) at Seymour. You see, Phil, you can get away with that stuff when you yell at fans…small children…blind people…cats…but when you start talking shit to Seymour, he’ll personal foul you. I think the refs didn’t call it because they’re sick of Rivers whining this year.

Not to take anything away from Rivers being gutsy enough to play on a bad ACL. That took stones.

People are saying that Hardwick is being a crybaby but why would he say that unless it was true? It’s not like Seymour dominated the game or anything like that. Of course, if you talk to someone right after a game you are getting quotes based on emotion not reason. There is no question that both Seymour and Vrabel hit Rivers in the legs and/or late in that game.

@TBL – The Fed had to slash interest rates. The Futures markets over the weekend were getting murdered. YM Futures were down as much as 600 points. If the Fed would not have cut rates the markets would be in far worse condition. The issue now is, where are people going to place their monies? Everyone one is pulling out of the stock market and the yields on bonds are horrible because of the interest rate cuts. It is going to be an interesting next few months. To the individuals that shorted financials and the markets a few months back, well played!

Neo…tape doesn’t lie. seymour was dirty as hell LAST game. i have no idea about before that. there was one play where he clearly stepped on phillip rivers’ feet and then pushed him over.

as for vrabel…during the browns game this year, 11 seconds left and he’s diving at Joe Thomas’ knees for a spiked ball when the Pats were up 2 scores. yea, im sure that meaningless ‘fumble recovery’ is really worth jeopardizing the career of a rookie. vrabel makes himself look like a ‘hustle’ guy when really, hes just a punk like harrison giving late hits, facemask pulls and little shit that’s just uncalled for. if youre going to do that shit, fine, its part of the game, but don’t go up in front of the cameras and play the ‘good guy’ role.

spencer, how is a vrabel a douchebag and a dirty player? I agree with you about Harrison. The guy took HGH and continually late hits, pile jumps and gets stupid penalties called on him. You’d think after so many years in the league and as a supposed leader of the team, he’d knock that stuff off. Seymour has no track record of being dirty. Hardwick is just complaining because his team lost. He needs to get over it.
