…it was a ROAST. An event where you put down, insult, denigrate, smear and fillet the guest(s) of honor. Everything is on the table: mothers, schools, appearance, public past. Everything.

Being offended at a roaster’s comments is like being offended at swearing during a hip-hop concert.

Yeah I liked that Berman Video about the codeine. He was trying to be cool saying deux deux deux. When no one asked him to explain what that meant, he had to explain the punchline, therefore ruining the joke.
