I had a pretty big name (that sounds weak) author write to me and say that might site had gotten worse. He explained the reasons and i have tried to take note.

I’m all for rational explanations as to why the site sucks.

So it takes a “big name” author to get you to pay attention. I’ve mentioned several times in the comments why I think this site has gone downhill (and they were all rational); all I got in return were people saying I’m a hater and telling me to go elsewhere. Oh, there were a few lame, tired, unfunny jokes too of course.

and yes, August. if you feel like attacking someone personally, go for it. i recommend a hatchet for a swift completely of the task

Vegas Watch, there’s no problem with the existence of most blogs per se. I just get mad when people try to describe sports blogging and say it’s all about jokes and hot women. Excuse me?! Not all of us write comedy; not all of us post pictures of hot women to get people to read our weak attempts at humor (cough iftheshoefitswearit cough); and I will not let the term “sports blogger” be stolen by that crowd.

This is interesting.

But commenter cursing I’m all in for.
